Jumping into June — Elderly Activities

It’s hard to believe, but we’re already 6 months in to 2016. Here we are, just wrapping up our Memorial Day barbecues, winding down from the long weekend. But don’t get sedentary just because you ate one too many hotdogs! June is already packed with great events that make perfect elderly activities! Below are just a few coming up in the next week, some are ongoing while others are just 1-2 days so be sure to mark your calendars so that you don’t miss anything! Best of all, many of these events are not only free but also open to all ages, so there are great options to take your whole family out, from the kids to your elderly relatives.

Dayton Outdoor Photography Exhibit

Aullwood hosts Dayton Outdoors by local photographer Bill Franz, the photographer behind the well known Facebook page “Dayton at Work and Play” and a regular contributor to local newspapers and magazines. Proceeds from this exhibit support Aullwood’s environmental educational programs for children.

Jewish Cultural Festival

The Jewish Cultural Festival returns to Temple Israel. The entire community, both Jewish and non-Jewish, is invited to share traditions and learn about the Jewish faith.
